THis toy appeared in an episode of “THe Big Bang THeory.” IN that one, Sheldon makes Leonard a snow cone. Leonard eats it, likes it, asks what flavor it is. Turns out to be Mango Caterpillar. (Sheldon had been secretly putting bugs in Leonard’s food.)
OMG, another damn 70s earworm!!! I caught myself singing along in my head. How sad is that?! (-.-);; My sis and I had one of these things, but usually didn’t get to use it, as Mom thought it made too much of a mess.
I got one of these once when I got a good report card. Later that day I kept chasing kids around and farting on them and I peed in my neighbors pool and as punsihment I got my Sno Cone Machine taken away for a week. When I got it back it was REALLY hard to use and the shards of ice melted by the time you cranked out a full cup! I decided it was stupid and ran off to crank out some more FARTS instead!
HA HA HA LOL. notice the subliminal “this is fun” placed strategically in a moment of silence. 0:09 I’m glad I was only like 2 when this stuff was happening. it’s cool and KEEN.
“this is …fun…” oh the enthusiasm. I remember how terrible this thing was. You’d have to press down so hard and turn the arm so fast that it was hardly worth the effort. ICE+BAG+HAMMER=same results with less effort. Want snoopy on it? Put a sticker on the bag. DONE.
I had one, but it wasn’t as good as the commercial made out. For one thing, you are supposed to put the ice cubes in, and turn the crank 6 times without any pressure (unlike what the commercial shows), then gently add pressure to the press. Also, that snow shovel scoop didn’t work very well - I just used a regular spoon. And you had to be careful with it, or the pieces would come apart while in use (it was made to come apart, for cleaning.)
The blond girl at 0:15- you can totally tell she had “brain freeze” and was probably sick of eating juice flavoured ice shards all day. I wonder what became of her any money says she worked briefly as a back up dancer for The C&C Music Factory before settling down at a law office in Colorado…but, I could be wrong.
i had one when i was little kid
Haha, my mom had one of these when I was a kid
omg i had one of these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They played this commercial all through the 80s.

Yep, I had one as a kid.
THIS IS A REAL THING?!
I remember thinking I could start my own business with this thing… Thanks Snoopy.
This is so popular. I still see it in stores, once in a while.
@funkmike word.
DAMN- I HAD ONE OF THESE!!
Yeah, I remember they played this one over and over and over.
Amazing how deeply embedded this song is in my head. Heard it and immediately sang along! Dear lord how TV was my world back then!
