If i were shown this when i was 8 and i was told to choose between owning this or having excellent sex every day for the rest of my life i would’ve chosen the city metropolis.. and would never have regretted the decision :D

I dont know if its god or bad or even if its art or not. But this thing is working with pure gravity and the tracks are fine tuned to allow a continuous flow. That is awesome!

“If someone says it’s art, then it is. It’s just the - question is whether it’s any good or not.”

Do you hear that, Roger Ebert?

@NotACoolUsername01 I would love to see you build something this complex, Good luck getting all the mechanical features to work properly and keep all the cars on the track, and have all the details in the skyscrapers and buildings with just cardboard. When you get that done, make sure you post a video of it on youtube so we can all see your success. Also make sure you show us someone who is willing to pay millions of dollars for you cardboard version of this.

  25. mattsr92182 says:

@TheDailyMonk Wood? most of that was made of steel, and it took 4 years to make, if he didn’t do it himself, then the labor would also be in there as well. Then all the mechanical features that had to be added. There is way more involved in this, then just buying wood. Have you ever seen those sculptures people carve out of wood. One little 3 foot sculpture can cost thousands of dollars. This is 28 feet wide and 10 feet tall. So i could only image what it would take to make this.
