I don’t think the newer versions are “sexy”. The trolls just look more human, the shortcake girls just look more up-to-date and Dora has only changed in toy form. The show still features the young Dora.

Well I’d say all the beauty obsession with toys is bad. Especially the ones they’re changing, since its sending the message that its not acceptable to look bad, rather than just the idea that they should try to look nice. I know it doesn’t sound like much of a difference, but I bet it’ll cause more obsession with the young girls of today in the future. And I’ve noticed that my 7 year old cousin is already being caught up with the issues; which I think is really bad…
