    I was visiting London when I heard on the television that some presenter was asking for the public’s help in building a Lego house. This was before I knew of Top Gear and James May. I’m so sorry now that I missed out on it.

  9. 7hink says:

    I’m sure many people have already thrown this out there, but I love May in this program.

    Where I think a lot of shows would be (& are) happy to let their premise ride solely on the “wow” or “stunt” factor, I feel as though May brings a simplicity and earnest enthusiasm to things. A genuine excitement and enjoyment for what he’s talking about that has me connecting with it on a deeper level then “Wow, That’s A Lot Of God Damned Legos”.

    When I watch this I’m not just impressed, I’m inspired.

    @madhorn1 no, it was episode 5 in the uk where it originally aired, it was episode 6 almost everywhere else when it aired around 6 months later.

  18. negutzcht says:

    @TheLegoshow101 what’s really challenging is combining original-style Lego’s with Technics mechanisms… which is very rewarding, once you finish a project! (and then put that with Lego Mindstorms? holy cow, that’s a dream project i like to make someday, if it weren’t for its combined steep price! =)

  19. tsage2007 says:

  23. kartulipuder says:

    What if you place lego bricks vertically, so that the beams wouldn’t be actually stuck on the house in a classic way?

  24. KingLoo78 says:

    @TheMrDobbins hell ye lol

  25. jurielgg says:
