    So many people thought that the Supremes originally did it! I used to get hit up with this when I worked at the record shop…now I can say they actually did a good job on their version, but the Toys had the more popular one. Great find! Diana sounds soooo young! Thanks for getting this one up!

    @MeetTheSupremes in order to do that he would have to go listen to minuet in G. I find it fascinating how in rock n roll you can find melodies and rythms taken from Classical music, in this case it’s slightly modified. However it isn’t alway’s easy to spot them. My music appreciation teacher mentioned this song when we were learning about Bach, had she not said something I probably never would have guessed.
