A Toys Orchestra-PETER PAN SYNDROME
The “young team” from the south of Italy is back! Their new full-length is hysteric but yet romantic, it’s surprisingly mature and deep, inspired and dreamy. We left those boys and girls still “sauvage” as the lo-fi feeling that was overwhelming from their debut release (on Job-Fridge Records 2001) that crossed the heart of many indie-rockers. Now here they are fully aware of their skills, they kept on growing and have also been able to put out an album that’s simply catchy. The thick production gives an international dimension to this wonderful combo. In the autumn of 2003 the band signed for Urtovox and started immediately recording the new album with Giacomo Fiorenza at Alpha Department (a division of Groove studio) in Bologna. The whole work has been supervised and produced by Paolo Naselli Flores. “Cuckoo boohoo” came out around the half of September 2004 in Italy, Germany, Austria and Swiss. The record was supported by the wonderful clip of ‘Peter Pan Syndrome’, you might have seen on MTV (the clip is also included as a rom track on the cd). At the moment the band is engaged in the production of the new record out in GEN 2007 with the collaboration of DUSTIN O’HALLORAN (DEVICS-Bella union rec) for the artistic supervision and the technical production of the master.

si questo xke c’è gente che ascolta ancora buona musica e se la va a cercare.. ma a livello nazionale meriterebbero di stare al posto di molti altri (senza fare nomi xD)!! e la dimostrazione che la nostra mentalità è giurassica è data dal fatto che in europa i gruppi che in italia sono considerati, diciamo, “alternativi” in europa hanno molti estimatori (vedi ad esempio i Linea77 in tutta europa o gli afterhours addirittura in america).. cmq aspetterò febbraio

dai.. mica sono cosi sconosciuti!! tecnicolor dreams è uscito a marzo del 2007 e in italia la stampa ne ha parlato parecchio, tra il 2007 e il 2008 hanno fatto oltre 160 concerti in giro per l’italia ed in europa. il disco è uscito in uk ed eu.Magari tu hai scoperto il disco dopo e non li hai mai incrociati su nessun giornale..comunque a settembre entrano in studio per fare il disco nuovo che se tutto va bene uscirà tra gennaio e febbraio del 2010..per cui aspettaci!!
